Friday 19 September a peace march in support of the Palestinian people will take place, promoted by various associations, including Intrecci culturali.

The march will start at 4.00 pm from Piazza del Popolo in Norbello and will end in Ghilarza. Arrival is scheduled in Piazza San Palmerio, where speeches by the organizers and guests will be held.

Among the speakers: Fawzi Ismail, president of the Sardegna Palestina Association; the editors of Erbavoglio; Paolo Pisu, of Sa mesa sarda de sa paxi; Alessandra Marchi, for Amicizia Sardegna Palestina; Father Paolo Contini; writer and poet Eliano Cau; Paolo Bellotti, president of Intrecci culturali; Giovanni Porcheddu, mayor of Siligo; and Carlo Bellisai, of the Movimento Nonviolento Sardegna.

The event is part of a broader path of solidarity initiatives and awareness-raising on the urgency of peace and human rights in the Middle East.
