There are meetings that, even in their simplicity, can turn into tangible signs of hope. This is what happened on Monday 29 September in Osilo, in the open space of the Malaspina Castle, an evocative fortress dating back to the late 1200s and located at about 700 metres above sea level.

Here the “Caravan of Peace”, a national initiative promoted by ACLI, stopped to meet our “Charter of S’Aspru”. The Caravan, with its journey from south to north of Italy, aims to promote and connect associations and local groups whose goals include building a culture of peace.

The presentation ceremony of the Charter of S’Aspru saw the participation of the mayor of Osilo, Giovanni Ligios, the national deputy secretary of ACLI, Pierangelo Milesi, the provincial ACLI secretary, Giuseppe Fresu, and Paolo Bellotti, president of “Intrecci Culturali”.

A simple moment, yet full of meaning, reaffirming how meeting and dialogue can become key tools for nurturing peace.
