CHRISTMAS CONCERT
There are concerts that walk on the staff of memories and bring us back into the cocoon of calm. Christmas concerts are a massage for our disenchanted, tired souls, a kind of homeopathic remedy that helps us spend a few hours with closed eyes and a warm heart. If to that concert you also add a story of women and children, of strength and resilience, then the concert also becomes a key step to build something small and terribly great. On 18 December we will try to tell you what love is and what music is. We will walk from Picasso’s cross-eyed gazes to Isabel’s words, the woman like all the women in the world. Mimì, Violetta, Tosca, Elektra, Rodelinda will come close to your seat. We will listen to the thoughts of the boys from San Donato who wrote to the children and women of Gaza. There will be tenors, sopranos, children’s choirs, music and glasses to toast to a new horizon. We will try to give a smile, even a small one, to those who walk in the desert of wars scattered across the world, to those who don’t have a ball to play with, a sandwich to bite, teeth to smile. On 18 December we will all have our eyes turned toward another sky, giving music and sweetness. We await you at 8.00 pm at the Luigi Canepa Conservatory, in Sassari. All proceeds will go to charitable purposes because even money, sometimes, can become small smiles. The concert is organized by the Rotary Club of Sassari Nord, district 2080 and by the associations ARS Aurelia and Intrecci culturali. United to do good.
