We thought it was love and instead it was Valentine’s Day.
We told the thousand ways of seeing love, of drawing love, of painting love, of forgetting love, of smiling and crying for love, of fluttering or staying indifferent for love. But we couldn’t tell all the love in the world. We drew blue eyes, blond braids, dark cellars where breath was missing, green water and the rocks of a dark sea, unrecognizable. That crazy and reckless love, that love built like an endless cathedral, that love that bursts inside the heart, that gets lost, that lasts a thousand days, but also less or, maybe, more. We left the bicycles behind and suddenly that strange silence between us made us say: what is love? We had no answers. We couldn’t have any. But everyone, absolutely everyone, tried to tell love. The Associazione Intrecci Culturali thanks the University of the Third Age of Porto Torres, Mayor Massimo Mulas who followed the whole event with interest, the Raccontarsi group who with Salvatore Ragas, Francesca Mastino, Anna Maria Carboni, Giuseppina Carboni, Maria Rosaria Mellone, Marcello Zirulia, Alba Rosa Galleri, Franco Satta and with the participation of Rita Orlando and the beautiful voice of Rita Casiddu, tried to tell all the loves in the world. With one certainty: one evening isn’t enough. But it helps. Thank you for being there and see you at the next edition.
